Flipped Conscious Inc is an innovative, creative consulting company established in early April of 2017 by nationally certified counselor Kanesha Walker Amaro, M Ed., LPC. Flipped Conscious aims to de-stigmatize Mental Health in Black and Brown Spaces by utilizing theatre and other forms of expressive art therapy tools. The mission is to spread knowledge and inspire growth through improv, and multiple artistic approaches. Flipped Conscious delivers dynamic satirical content in creative outlet workshops geared towards cultural competency, trauma & crisis work, identity, and other mental heath based topics for providers in community based organizations and students at the high-school and college level.

DIVERGENT YOUTH SERIES
Growth Within the Team
Flipped Conscious Inc partners with community based organizations and schools to deliver a ten week program for youth over the summer. The program is utilizes a variety of creative outlet sessions for youth three days a week and individual therapy sessions once a week for ten weeks. In the end, participants are left with a deeper knowledge of self and toolbox of how to navigate the world.
